My research covers three main areas:
- User perceptions related to immersive systems and technology acceptance research, especially Augmented Reality (AR)
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligence Augmentation (IA) and possible effects on the work life
- Privacy of individuals in the digital sphere, including analyses of privacy concerns and their ramifications with regard to technology use
- Informational self-determination of individuals through privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) and user adoption
- Technology acceptance with a special focus on new concepts from related disciplines
Selected Publications
I publish my work in the Information Systems, HCI/Usable Privacy, and XR areas in top journals (e.g., Computers in Human Behavior, Behaviour & Information Technology, ACM SIGMIS Database for Advances in Information Systems, Computers & Security, PoPETs) and conferences such as SOUPS, ICIS, and ISMAR.
